Questions & answers
Everything you might ask.
What exactly is Aurora?
Aurora is a tropical-flavored, zero-sugar drink mix that contains caffeine. You scoop one serving (~8.1 g) into 16 oz of cold water or seltzer, stir for ten seconds, and drink it cold. Each serving has 200 mg of caffeine. It's a flavored beverage mix — not a dietary supplement.
How much caffeine is in it?
200 mg of caffeine per serving — about the same as two cups of coffee. We print the exact amount on the tub and on the product page. Because of the caffeine, Aurora is intended for adults 18 and older and is not recommended for children, people sensitive to caffeine, or those who are pregnant or nursing.
Can I make it stronger or lighter?
That's the upside of a scoop-and-water mix: you control it. A full scoop in 16 oz is the standard serving at 200 mg of caffeine. Want a bolder, more concentrated flavor? Use a little less water. Prefer a lighter pour? Use a half scoop for about 100 mg of caffeine, or add more water to lengthen it. One tub, mixed your way.
What does it taste like?
A layered tropical profile: pineapple leads, lychee adds a floral creamy depth, guava rounds it out, pear keeps it candy-clean, and a touch of vanilla smooths it. Three food acids — citric, malic and lactic — arrive at different moments so the flavor moves across your palate. Think a premium take on the white-gummy-bear flavor, without the chemical aftertaste.
Is it really zero sugar?
Yes — the Nutrition Facts panel shows 0 g of sugar. The sweetness and body come from a stevia–erythritol blend with a small sucralose top-up; the erythritol gives it real sugar-like mouthfeel, so it doesn't taste thin or watery the way a lot of zero-sugar mixes do. The only trace of sugar is a tiny amount of dextrose that comes built into the natural lychee flavor powder — far too little to register on the panel, but we list it in the ingredients because that's the honest thing to do.

How long does a tub last?
Each tub is 30 servings — about a month if you have one a day. The mix is dry and shelf-stable; keep the lid sealed and store it somewhere cool and dry.
Who makes it?
Brendon Yarburgh — a U.S. Army veteran in Dallas. He developed the recipe himself, makes it in small batches, and packs every tub by hand. Read the full story.
Is this regulated or inspected?
Aurora is made under the Texas Cottage Food Law, which allows shelf-stable foods like dry drink mixes to be produced at home and sold directly to consumers in Texas. As required by that law: This product was produced in a private residence that is not subject to governmental licensing or inspection. We list the full ingredients, allergens, and caffeine content up front so you can decide before you buy.
Can I return it?
Because Aurora is a consumable food product, we can't accept returns of opened tubs for safety reasons. If your order arrives damaged or there's a mistake, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we'll make it right. See Delivery & Returns for details.
